Did you hear? NVidia™ has released pictures of it's latest card code-name 5900. How is that for a lack of imagination. I myself prefer to hear beautiful names of things I have to look up in the dictionary before I grasp what the marketers were trying to convey.

ATI™ has released it's latest card the Radeon 9800 ProXT which features an 8X AGP along with 8 pipelines and 256 mb of DDR RAM. To date, this is the fastest and most sought after card on the market. Gamers dream of it, and single wealthy males scrounge to own it.

Last time when NVidia faced a formidable competitor, do you remember what they did? That is right, they bought 3DFX, and many a Tribes™ player died in spirit that day. Sure you can find a somewhat reliable driver for the newer operating systems. It is just not the same. I still keep my two Voodoo 5500's close to my side, hoping the company will once again be resurrected from the evil empire. (Hey I can dream, can't I?)

STORAGE:
Ok, I myself love LOTS of storage, but come on, a 250gb hard drive? I can see if you are a video editing magnate, or if you have some sort of mental illness where you must possess every mp3 on Kazaa. For us gamers, my typical machine has the 40 gb with 7200 rpm, with the exception of my P4 machine having an 80 gb drive. With a price of $250, a smart shopper could buy a 80gb & a ATI 9600 pro. But hey, bigger is better, right? Ask any guy.

Also, make sure that you check out CompGeeks with the sale on the USB pen storage devices. They are also the latest fad.

IMAGING:
Ok, after you are done reading this you should run to your nearest Best Buy™ and check out the AIPTEK™ DV-3100. It is a palm-sized camera with video capabilities. Here is their official commentary "Measuring only 3.3" x 2.7" x 1.6" the new Pocket DV 2 captures your life's moments in the palm of your hand.  Featuring a 4 in 1 design, the DV2 functions as a Digital Video Recorder, Digital Voice Recorder, a High Resolution
3.1 mega-pixel Digital Camera, or even hook it to your PC to be used as a webcam!  It offers a 1.4" Color LCD Display, and if the 16 MB built in SDRAM isn't enough, you can add up to a 512 MB CF card.  Upload images and video to your PC via the USB cable.  You can even playback video on your TV or VCR."

By the way, it is only $129. have fun and try it out!
