Merry Christmas--Baby Alexander 8 Months old and already has 4 teeth!!!

Merry Christmas!
Many changes have taken place in 2003 for the von Haden family. Alexander was our addition in April, and it has been great.

In September, I told the Ashwaubenon School District that we, as a family, decided that I would be a stay at home Dad. I worked until they found a replacement, almost 3 months later. Talk about taking your time, geesh!

Family

My wife has been working with the Actuaries once again, and she has a wonderful boss, Katherine. Katherine's husband is also a stay at home Dad. We met this summer and talked, and it made the decision easy.

My closest friend is my wife. She has brought so much joy to my life. Here is a picture of her to the right.

Aside from being a "Super Genius", she is also "Super Mom", "Mrs. House maker", etc....

We have been practicing our Christmas songs. Our little son looks at his Mom in amazement. Such beautiful sounds are coming from Mommy. He then likes to dig in her mouth, to find out where the sounds are.

We met while working at Schneider National, Inc. Like they say, it is not just a job, but an adventure. We worked on some projects together, and found that we had similar interests, one another. One thing led to another, and next thing I knew she had me in her arms!

Here is a picture of Jackie wrapping a present. Notice the cute picture in the background??

In this picture, Jackie is making a gesture in German that we call "Schimpfing". It is the equivalent of being scolded.

I will try to bring my life experiences to you, all of them. Most of them are funny, because, well, I am a funny guy. My motto is, "Live life to the fullest, and Love unconditionally with ALL your heart."
